Mademoiselle de Margaux’s awards
- In 1983, just two years after their creation, Sarments du Médoc were already a major success. This chocolate speciality, straight out of Margaux, was entered in the “Fancy Food Show” competition in Washington DC, winning the “Candy Award”, the prize for the best confectionery product.
- In 2009, it was the turn of the Guinette to try its luck at the “Fancy Food Show” in New York. In recognition of the perfect harmony between cherry, Armagnac and chocolate, and the quality and subtlety of this regional speciality, the judging panel awarded the Guinette the “SOFI Award” – a prestigious award in the world of speciality foods.
A high-quality chocolate made from natural ingredients
Driven by its commitment to quality and taste, Mademoiselle de Margaux carefully selects each and every ingredient used in her products. When making her chocolate specialities, she only uses natural flavourings and pure cocoa butter chocolate, with no other vegetable fat used in its products.
A commitment to continuous improvement
In 2012, Mademoiselle de Margaux obtained ISO 22000 certification in recognition of its commitment to continuous improvement, hygiene and food safety. This food safety and quality management certification reflects the brand’s compliance with HACCP requirements (a food safety hazard identification, analysis and management system).
As a Loc Maria Biscuit group’s company, Mademoiselle de Margaux respects an Ethics Charter which defines the relations we strive to establish internally with staff and externally with customers, suppliers and financial partners.
